ROTARY DISTRICT 6920

ABOUT DISTRICT 6920

58 clubs and more than 2,600 members serving Southeastern Georgia — from Savannah and the Golden Isles to Macon, Augusta, Valdosta, and the towns in between.

PEOPLE OF ACTION IN SOUTHEASTERN GEORGIA

Rotary is a global network of neighbors, friends, and leaders who take on hard problems. A Rotary district is the local home for those clubs. District 6920 supports 58 clubs across 15 areas so members can serve their own towns and still act together on youth programs, literacy, The Rotary Foundation, and the unfinished promise to end polio.

This public website is for people who want to understand who we are, find a club, read the work, and ask about membership. Club administration, training, and private District documents live in DACdb — not in the public navigation.

This year

District Governor Beverly J. Trainor of St. Simons Island asked clubs to grow Rotary and serve their communities better. She is supported by District Governor-Elect Danny Broyles (Valdosta North), District Governor-Nominee Dave Razo (Warner Robins), and Executive Assistant Governor Paula Goodnow (Kings Bay).

What a district does

Clubs do the weekly work. The District helps them do it well: coaching club leaders, connecting service projects, running youth programs, raising money for The Rotary Foundation, and giving the public one place to find a meeting.

District 6920 is part of Rotary Zone 34 and Rotary International. Visitors who want a club should start with Find a Club. Rotarians who need records or training should sign in to DACdb or My Rotary.

THE FOUR-WAY TEST

Of the things we think, say, or do:

1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
